There is a classic Chinese proverb that says to survive, we should take advantage of local resources. Because of globalization, our life is hugely different

from ancient times. We buy and drink bottled water from places where we’ve never stepped foot. One day while I was bored, I stared at my FIJI bottle.

An illusion came to mind. I saw an island inside of the bottle and imagined I was walking on that island, touching nature.

Living in New York has separated people from real nature. Although we have Central Park and the High Line, we normally do not have time to enjoy

them. Even if we do find the time, those man-made parks are filled with more men than trees. I appreciate my illusion of the island inside of the bottle,

and felt and compelled to make it a reality in order to tempt the capital-minded consumers who live in cities to think about nature.
